All members of affiliated national organizations are automatically IAPL members. Benefits include:

- Free access to exclusive news from the field worldwide

Individuals can be a member of IAPL by membership in a national association of linguistics.
Linguists in countries without a national IAPL affiliate can apply for individual membership of IAPL.
Groups of scholars in such countries can apply for affiliate membership.

Application

Applications for membership as an Affiliate Member should be directed to the President. A decision on this application will be taken jointly by the Executive Board.
